Abstract

ABSTRACT Name : Angrainy Julia Putri Mattulangi SRN : 20123054 Title : Implementation of a Scientific Approach to Improving PAI Learning Outcomes for Class XI Students at SMA Negeri 7 Manado. This Research aims to improve the learning outcomes of class XI MIPA 5 students at SMA Negeri 7 Manado by using a scientific approach. The type of research used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects in this research were 10 students in class XI MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 7 Manado, consisting of 5 women and 5 men and the Islamic Religious Education teacher as the observer. The instruments used for data collection in this research were student and teacher activity observation sheets and learning outcomes tests. The research data was analyzed using qualitative data and quantitative data. The results of research using a scientific approach in the subject of Islamic Religious Education class XI MIPA 5 got an average pre-cycle score of 68.0, cycle I 69.0 and cycle II 80.4 and has met the minimum completion criteria standard of 75. From the results of this research, it can be seen that student learning outcomes have increased, so it can be concluded that the implementation of scientific approach can improve student learning outcomes in the Islamic Religious Education subject class XI MIPA 5 at SMA Negeri 7 Manado.
